A much altered 18th century farm cottage refurbished, remodelled and extended for family living, with complete internal reconstruction including new floors and external walls. Installation of an air source heat pump, underfloor heating throughout and efficient roof wall and floor insulation to minimise heat loss. The exterior of the original timber framed cottage was weatherboarded, creating a textural contrast with the infill extension’s vertical, cedar-boarding and zinc standing seam roof.
